Fennec F-Droid is Firefox for Android, rebuilt from Mozilla’s own source code with the Google and tracking parts removed. It looks and works like Firefox, add-ons included, but runs fine on phones without Google Play Services.

Official file from the developer's release
Key features
- The full Firefox browser, with sync and tabs
- Works with add-ons such as uBlock Origin
- No Google Play Services needed
- Mozilla telemetry and proprietary parts removed
- Updated soon after each Firefox release
Why isn’t Fennec F-Droid on Google Play?
Mozilla publishes the regular Firefox on Google Play. Fennec is the community’s privacy build of it, and it is published only on F-Droid.
Is Fennec F-Droid safe?
Fennec F-Droid is open source: its full code is public, so anyone can check what it does. The download button above gives you the official file, or get it from the Fennec build project. Avoid “modded” copies from unknown sites. Fennec F-Droid comes straight from its developer rather than through Google Play, so it hasn’t gone through Google’s app review. As with any app, check the permissions it asks for and install it if you’re comfortable with them.
How to install
