MLM VPN is an Android app that bundles many separate connection engines (Xray, WARP, Psiphon, Tor, Geph, OpenVPN, MASQUE/AmneziaWG and more) behind one home screen, plus an adaptive engine that figures out the best working route per app on its own. It also includes Gereh, a serverless phone-to-phone messenger, a Cloudflare control panel, a config studio and a game booster, all built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
Developer: mlmvpn · License: GPL-3.0 (open source) · Price: Free
Before you start: this is a VPN app, so Android will show a one-time system prompt asking you to allow VPN connections when you first connect through any engine. No root, Shizuku or extra account is required just to install the app, though some engines (like Proton VPN, Windscribe, FENIX/Firefox, or GitHub Tunnel) work best if you already have an account with that service.

Why isn’t MLM VPN on Google Play?
It is published by its developer, mlmvpn, directly on GitHub and is not listed on Google Play or F-Droid.
Is MLM VPN safe?
The source code is fully open under GPL-3.0, with native libraries and data files built into the release APK (not stored in the repo, and pulled via Git LFS if you build from source). The README notes that server and relay addresses were replaced with placeholders before publishing to protect them from attacks, and that the app involves network circumvention technology, so check your local laws before using it. MLM VPN comes straight from its developer rather than through Google Play, so it hasn’t gone through Google’s app review. As with any app, check the permissions it asks for and install it if you’re comfortable with them.
How to install
- Tap the download button above: the APK file downloads straight to your phone.
- When Android asks, allow your browser to install unknown apps.
- Open the file and tap Install.
FAQ
Is MLM VPN free?
The app itself is free and open source under GPL-3.0. Some connection engines, like FENIX, Proton VPN or Windscribe, use your own free-tier account with that provider, so limits depend on what each provider offers.
How do I pick which VPN engine to use?
The app has an iPhone-style home screen listing all engines, such as Xray, WARP, Psiphon and Tor. You can also let the MAE (MLM Adaptive Engine) or FLUX engine test routes automatically and pick the one that works for a given app or network.
What is Gereh and do I need the internet to use it?
Gereh is the messenger built into MLM VPN. It has no server, phone number or email requirement, and can deliver messages over shared Wi-Fi with no internet, Bluetooth, volunteer relays, or a small Google Apps Script relay.
