AppsApk Extension Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

This policy covers the AppsApk browser extension, “AppsApk – Android App Finder & Update Alerts”, published by AppsApk.com. Visits to the appsapk.com website are covered by our main privacy policy.

What the extension stores on your device

  • The AppsApk app list (app names, page addresses, versions, sizes and safety-check results), so search and matching work on your computer.
  • The apps you choose to follow (name, page address and the last version you were told about).
  • Your two settings: the card on Google Play pages, and update alerts.

This data stays in your browser, and in your browser’s sync storage if you use browser sync. We cannot see it.

What the extension sends to us

  • A request to download the AppsApk app list, about four times a day. The request contains no information about you or your browsing.
  • When you use the extension’s window, app icons load from appsapk.com.
  • When you open a link from the extension, you visit appsapk.com like any other visitor. These links carry “utm” tags that only tell us the visit came from the extension, and which feature you used.

What the extension reads

On Google Play app pages, it reads the app id in the page address to check, on your device, whether AppsApk has that app. It does not read or send page content, and it does not run on any other website.

What it never does

It never collects personal data, tracks your browsing, sells or shares data, shows ads, or downloads apps.

Removing the extension

Removing the extension deletes all of the data it stored.
